Star Wars 1978 Millennium Falcon by TheRetroDraughtsman

Now this Is nostalgia to the nth degree. I absolutely adore this print of Palitoy’s (Kenner to our friends in the United States), Millennium Falcon toy from 1978. I ordered immediately and look forward to framing it to display with my own Palitoy toys.

By TheRetroDraughtsman and you can buy them at his Etsy site for £40 plus postage. There are a few other Star Wars prints there too, including a Speeder Bike, Slave One and several others in this style as well as several blueprint images of toys including the Millennium Falcon, which I will get later.

Printed to 914mm by 610 mm, it’huge and is a must for any Star Wars collector in my opinion.

Check out his website and Facebnook page for more of his wonderful art.

06/12/16; my copy arrived this morning and i love it. The print itseld is quite large and will look  really nice next to my actual toys. The images are clear and crisp and each print is signed by the artist. A worthwhile purchase.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as it increases. Well, that was the plan but it now seems to be more about cataloguing any Millennium Falcon item in general now so that i can come back to them later.
