“Friendly Ambush” by Guy Vasilovich

Celebrations Anaheim is now upon us and ACME Archives have released this print by Guy Vasilovich of the Millennium Falcon approaching Bespin.

imageStunning, isn’t it? The print itself is 16″ by 28.5″ on canvas and limited to an edition size of 150 pieces. $325 from ACME’s website. You can also buy it on paper for $165, but this image is a little smaller at 11″ by 20.5″. Again, with an edition size of 150 pieces.

Personally, I think that this is stunning and will be picking one up as soon as possible. Here are a couple of close ups.

imageimageMan, the original of this must look incredible.

13/05/15: My copy (4 of 150) arrived today and it is stunning. The only thing is, ACME appear to have printed the Lucasfilm logo upside down, which is a little wierd. Still, i’m sure the framer can sort that out.

4 or 150

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as it increases. Well, that was the plan but it now seems to be more about cataloguing any Millennium Falcon item in general now so that i can come back to them later.
