“Han Solo” by Jose Luis Munoz Luque

After my recent purchase of Kevin Weber’s “Kashyyyk Homecoming“, i thought that i’d look for other examples of original paintings of the Millennium Falcon. Google referred me to the Fine Art America site which had a few nice pieces of work.

The first piece of art i’d like to blog is this beautiful painting by Jose Luis Munoz Luque called “Han Solo“. It’s of a young boy (Han Solo?) outside the cockpit of a YT1300, presumably the Millennium Falcon.

Han Solo by Jose Luis Monoz LuqueI think it’s stunning and will definitely pick up a copy in a couple of months. You can buy prints from his store on the Fine Art America website. The original was sold on 10/02/2014 and is quite a size at 90 cms by 145 cms.

Check out Jose’s other artwork and his website.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as it increases. Well, that was the plan but it now seems to be more about cataloguing any Millennium Falcon item in general now so that i can come back to them later.
