Lines – Corellia Series by Brian Heath

Brian Heath has created this rather nice set of line drawings that he’s called the “Corellia Series“. It features three well known Corellian Engineering Corporation ships.

Han Solo’s YT-1300 Millennium Falcon.

There’s also the Otana. Ace Azameen’s YT-2000 transport from the  X-Wing Alliance game.

And Dash Rendar’s YT-2400 Outrider

I do like the banner style of these images. I’m hoping that Brian will release them as a print set.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as it increases. Well, that was the plan but it now seems to be more about cataloguing any Millennium Falcon item in general now so that i can come back to them later.

I will let you know, how the test prints come out. The image itself is 4.000×12.000 pixels big. The line work is native so no loss in quality but the concrete backgrounds are up-scaled and therefore appear more blury than the lines. I guess to a certain size, it will look great untill you stand right in front of it. Seems like I will have to create my own ultra high-res background ressources.
Thank you very much for featuring them on your blog

    cheers
